Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 Years of Emergency Room Experience Required License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district Required Certifications: NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS & ACLS Required Must-Have: BSN Highly Desired, Cerner Experience Required Description: Must live 50 miles away. Travelers must be willing and able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN. Must be willing to take a patient ratio of 1:5. The Emergency Department is a fast-paced environment that treats a wide variety of patients. Emergency Department nurses manage critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusion of blood, and chest tubes. Patients range from urgent care (simple procedures) to psychiatric, pediatric, and critical care/trauma patients. The role involves coordinating and delivering care to patients with complex nursing care needs. Ensuring the highest level of safety and quality while promoting a positive patient experience is essential.
