IR TECH Job Details: • Previous Interventional Radiology experience required (scrub and circulate)Opportunity:IR TECHJob Details:• Previous Interventional Radiology experience required (scrub and circulate)• Previous neurointerventional Radiology experience required (scrub and circulate)• Moderate sedation experience required• Vascular OR experience preferred• Cath Lab experience preferred• VI Registered preferred• Typical procedures include dialysis work (Permcaths, fistulagrams), neph tubes, arteriograms/embolizations, Y-90, G tubes, TIPS, Inari cases, cerebral arteriograms, coilings, pipelines, mechanical thrombectomies, and vertebroplasties• Patient ratio is 1:1• Equipment includes single plane GE units, biplane Philips units, and one Invasive CT scanner• EMR system: Cerner (Radnet)• Day shift staffing: 2 techs per room, 1 nurse per room• Night shift staffing: 1 tech and 1 RN onsite• On-call schedule includes every 7th weekend and one night secondary call during the week• Float area: VOR• Hospital-provided scrubs• Required certification: flagship hospital, licensed for 815 beds, has been recognized among America's 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades, placing it in the top 1% of hospitals nationally for clinical quality. The facility has earned a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade of "A" and holds the prestigious Magnet Designation for nursing excellence. The hospital serves as the region's referral center for a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Level III neonatal intensive care unit, and operates the busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas.
